Q. What is Ferbessen? What does Ferbessen mean?

A. Ferbessen is an application that allows people to find others to teach them what they want to learn. Ferbessen comes from the German word, Verbessern which means "to improve."

Q. Why use Ferbessen?

A. Ferbessen is the only Student-Master marketplace that traverses all industries and sectors. We do not require a pre-built curriculum, and we emphasize strong relationships between Student and Master to make learning more impactful.

Q. What makes a Master a Master?

A. You do. You know what you are good at and whether you can teach it or not.

Q. How do I find a Master?

A. Sign up to request to be a beta user here. Once approved you will be able to search for a Master by name, skill or location.

Q. What and how will Masters teach?

A. Practically anything! At Ferbessen we match Students with Masters. They know their craft and know how to teach it. We want to let them do what they do best. They may teach virtually, in person, or a combination of both. They may teach one-on-one, or in a group format.

A: You will be able to use the application and search for Masters for free. Masters set their own rates for teaching.
